I can't tell you how much I LOVE THIS PODCAST from Darrin!! It is a great thing he isn't in our market to have to compete against - this is great for both new managers and experienced managers to listen to and learn! It raises the bar on what the expectations are for them to become a GREAT Leader in their Branch!!! This alone is worth every penny we are paying you!!!

We are grateful !!

Thanks!

Steve, I just wanted to let you know I plan to stay in touch and come to your future sessions. I really would like to make up the session on training a new agent the first day, most likely that was the one that would have benefited me the most.

I have seriously learned so much. Almost too much, I think I will as time goes on implement more and more of what you have laid out here as I realize that most likely everything you brought to us 'really is a good idea'. Don't know how much sense that makes but, change is a process not an event. You have been the event and now we have to make what you brought to us part of our process, and we have in many ways but not all.

I have a good friend who is a trainer across the country for Toyota, and he told me the other day, 'These are the most expensive words in the business: ..."we always do it that way...." Don't want to make those expensive mistakes, and I think listening and implementing the principals and tasks you have given us will help that.I look forward to good recruiting and retention, and I would say also, some delightful life skills from the time you have taken with us to share your life.

Gracias.

Really enjoys class, glad he is taking it, will be able to use it as they get their system in place. This system will help. A year is a good time frame. Enjoys Steve’s presentation style. Looks forward to succeeding next year.

Enjoyed the interview and is looking forward to Steve’s next class.

The program is helping them (Joan and owner) to realize they need a person who is solely a recruiter and will give them the tools to do it well.

Steve’s presentation on Hot Groups is a good idea and will help them (his company and agents) get more out of their time together and stimulate thinking.

For next class, if she follows his steps, she will do better. She is looking at a recruiting overview from 1994 Steve prepared for her company that is out on the desk and still used. She thought that was cool and that his influence has helped make the company grow as well as Steve’s materials evolving.

Lost track of how important recruiting is and now with Steve, the class came along at right time and things Steve said about becoming more relevant ring true. He has high expectations and believes the class will be worthwhile.
Likes it.

Enjoyed class so far, the reading materials, starting to see through Steve, how it is unfolding and will hang together.

Overall, I was very pleased with the feedback. Let’s just concentrate on the material and turn these Friedman Fanatics into Recruiting Razors!

“...I will keep an open mind and create a hot group for both offices. ... I am committed to create an effective recruiting program. Thanks”

“ I liked it and think we are onto a good thing.”

“ It was good. It was also overwhelming...simply meaning that the new material was challenging...making me think on a deeper level about recruiting...recruit people with a plan already in place as to how to use those people and develop individual profit centers for each person you hire. Thanks for the opportunity.”

“I think it's a very worthwhile program and will serve as the impetus many of us need to assess, revise, and launch a very different recruiting campaign from what we've done in the past. I agree with most of what has been presented and it has helped me to see opportunities I was not aware of. As with anything, there are a few things I disagree with and will probably not implement, but nothing of major importance. I think the homework assignments will really aid us in our analysis and are things we probably would not do otherwise, even though we all knew we should be doing them. And as always, there is great benefit to spending time with the other Brokers and sharing with each other our best practices.

Thank you for spearheading this effort.”

“Thought it was a good session and I have already started implementing some of the ideas I received there.”

“The second day of the class was much better than the first, although the first was not bad. I thought the class had more usable information that we can put into practice in the office. The Hot Group concept was good. The inter-action was a positive part of the day and made me realize that most people have very similar problems. Also the lunch was better!”

“Steve kept spoon feeding us which is good. He's making it interesting. It remains to be seen if NWI brokers will be tripping all over each other. I know what your corporate response will be, I'm curious to see how Steve responds. Overall, I've applied what I've learned so far and I'll let you know next week if it works. I'm exited!”

“ Yesterday's session was very worthwhile, even though I did not do the map correctly. I am re-doing it and can see the value in identifying the areas and pockets we need to concentrate on. I also thought the group interaction was worthwhile and made me see the similarity in problems across the board. My husband has been involved with TQI programs as well as the Kaisen concept, but I never thought much about it outside of the world of Industry and steel. Keep up the good work. This is an interesting process.”

“Hi Steve. After a few of your classes, we are starting to get good results on new hires. Al Stetson, who is taking your class along with me, just interviewed two new agents.”
“As such, I've now requested that our agents turn in a business planning sheet twice a month that details what they've done in the past two weeks. My purpose is to guide my existing agents towards being more pro-active on their business.”

“ Each agent in our company has been provided with Lead Router for free, so the agents now have a choice.”

“They can turn in their bi-weekly sheets and continue to get Lead Router for free on their leads or not turn it in and not get that service.”

“This forwarded email is the second of emails I received with a less than positive message. What do you think of this?”

“Hi Steve, I had wanted to get to Ct to attend the session I missed (our date was Jan 3rd) but was sick. Would you please send me the power point presentation from that session so I can review the material from that day?”

“ Over all I have been implementing as much as I can as I can.”

“ I have added 2 experienced agents and have several new agents coming on board over the next few weeks - they are finishing school. We have decreased the use of the "Mirror Test" to just fill desks although; one owner still has some strong tendencies toward the fill the desk approach. I feel like I am making headway and I believe that has much to do with being able to say "I learned it in my Recruiting class" - the 3rd party validation works miracles!”

“Steve, with it all there is so much; one idea alone, getting my manager out into the field looking at inventory and using the TLC will create 1,000,000 in commissions. That alone has been worth our investment.”

Dear Steve,

I was there and got so much good info in more ways than I expected Thanks Again. There is so much valuable information I feel that I miss a class I will miss part of a puzzle and then my picture will look awkward and incomplete. Thanks for being such a great teacher.

Hey Steve,

I just wanted to thank you for the material you shared yesterday. It was extremely helpful, and a significant step in grasping where we are going with the recruiting material.

“Great session - I have an agent I have been working on coming back in to do a business plan meeting on Tuesday! I am hoping this will shorten the process for me as I have a few agents that have been "talking" to me that I have not been able to get to move off the mark. Please if you get a moment send me the packet so I have clean sheet to work off of.”

“I also am using the TLC program - our 1st house is tomorrow and the agent I am meeting with Tuesday may take advantage of it as well.”

“I have the Brand Book ready to go out to you tomorrow. I have revised the book in that all the pages are portrait now. Any and all comments are welcome.
I did my first business meeting and got a WOW - The agent said his manager wants a meeting with him for the same purpose but he doubted it would be as thorough. He isn't making a move now but it did make him think and it was great for me to do it!”

“On our recruiting activities we are really going on one direction only: YOURS. Every one of our presentations is what we learned from you, every candidate starts with the PowerPoint presentation, in the office, no more meetings at the diner or someone else to close the candidate. We are very serious about this. I will keep you posted.”

“Good afternoon, Steve. I really wanted to thank you again for all you did for us. I feel I am a better manager because of the program. Your efforts have truly made recruiting easier, more effective, and more measurable. In addition, the program helped teach me how to deal with everyday problems I use to struggle with. I hope the powers that be retain your service again so I can continue improving my business.”

Steve,

I want to tell you, again, Thanks. I gave out my personal Brand Book again and got such compliments. All the interviewee's love it.

They tell me without me asking. I am enjoying using all my new tools. I think the final class summed it all up to remind us ALL we learned, what we are using and what we still need to use.”
